Privacy Policy

    The short version: StarFlow collects only what it needs to work. We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with third parties without your consent. Your birth data is yours.
  

1. Who We Are

StarFlow is operated by AI BMT. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to AI BMT. For questions or concerns, contact us at info@bouldermountaintech.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide StarFlow's features:

Account information — your email address, used to create and authenticate your account.
Birth data — your birth date, birth time (optional), and birth location, used solely to calculate your natal chart and generate personalized content.
Profile data — any name or display information you choose to add to your profile.
Usage data — anonymous, aggregated data about how features are used, to improve the app. This is never linked to your identity.

We do not collect your precise location in real time, your contacts, your photos, or any data beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to:

Calculate and display your personal natal chart, transits, horoscopes, and all in-app features.
Authenticate your account and sync your data across devices.
Send you transactional emails (account confirmation, support replies). We will never send unsolicited marketing without your opt-in.
Improve app performance using anonymous, non-identifiable usage analytics.

We never use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose not listed here.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase — enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. All connections use TLS/SSL. Access is restricted and logged.

In-app purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We never see, store, or handle your payment card information.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers — ever.

We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

Service providers — Supabase (data storage), Expo/EAS (app delivery infrastructure). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct any inaccurate data by updating your profile in-app or contacting us.
Delete your account and all associated data by emailing info@bouldermountaintech.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Export your data upon request.

7. Children's Privacy

StarFlow is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Third-Party Links

StarFlow may contain links to external sites (such as Apple's App Store). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of StarFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you in-app or via email.
